What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

I’m a fan of cgm

My libre finished two days ago. I’ve been using the contour next this morning it reads six point seven

I’ve been helping with the grand kids. My weak willed , waste not want not mind set has seen me snacking on their food rejections

If I had been using a libre I’d have been more moderate
 
5.8 today. Sugars doing good all day.
Think I’m getting a cold…geesh…I blame the germ infested gym.
Gym today was shoulders, biceps and triceps, heavy weights. I was not coughing and I disinfected every surface I touched…I needed to do a small (ha, that never happens) Costco run ($300) to stock up on things that are going to get pricey with gas prices going high. Decided to get three more dexcoms and for some reason there was a rebate ….I'm ok with that, so each one was about $62 CAD instead of $80.
Hubby took dog to vet today for her annual vaccines and flea and tick meds. I hate ticks…
 
libre thought 3, fingerprick said 5.8, its now dead. hopefully new sensor inserted is a bit more accurate :)

@DEBBIESCOTT Nice that next day deliverly worked well for you, i live fairly remote -- 3-5 days usually for replacement sensor. wish they would use royal mail thats the only deliverly service that appears to work well here (1-2 days) sometimes can wait 7-10 days for parcels despite paying for next day deliverly. Hopefully the card reader will work nicely shame that its another thing to carry about. Seems good customer service overall :)
 
5.6 on Dexcom and finger prick. Happy me.
Had flurries all day yesterday and about 2 cm of snow overnight. We really need snow in the hills so I’m no mad about this. Next week it’s supposed to warm up nicely.
Gym was abs, yoga and a walk. Just finished lunch of bacon and eggs, with some sauerkraut. Yummy.
Supper will be steak and salad. Made some very good homemade ranch dressing, will make that again
the cold I thought I had yesterday has disappeared, magic, happy, lucky magic.
 
6.0 new libre not where suppossed to put it... stomach. fingerprick 6.3

hope get dr today wanting something else for back pain. Decemebers last cadual injection totally worn off needing something a little stronger than 300mg pregablin & 2x co-codomal 500/30 before or/if get another pain relief injection.

gonna call pain clinic and ask why not heard back from them sent in the form a month ago. usually would of had a new appt through the post by now. last time was at the clinic he did say more mechanical so would wear off and can't keep on doing the injections and asked any news on op, i did tell him somewhere in the next several months was likely prob was a bad idea to say.
