Football 2025/26 Season.

Well that's it job done now forget play offs we lost 3-1 other results went against us so we drop to 8th place. Home to Reading on 3rd April. No game for us next week. Another bashing upcoming from Reading.

Well the 4 of us went to Carabao Cup Final on Sunday. Sadly the result was as you predicted John. First half was OK, but 2nd half was appalling. Another nice day out ruined by the football

At least you had a day out I suppose. I wonder what's happened to @Lamont D and @hankjam they are both very quiet. I hope they are both ok along with @Cumberland

It seems our head coach Liam manning has been given compassionate leave for the rest of the season as his new born son died in October 2024. I wonder if that will make any difference to how the team performs in the final 8 games. I agree with the board but really he should have been relieved of duties sooner. I sympathise with the guy he can get on with the grieving process. I guess we'll see.

Here's (just a bit) of sympathy from me.
I'm glad Cambridge are doing well anyway...Sorry about the other team..
Thank you @zand. So many weird and wonderful theories among the fanbase as to the cause of Spurs' woes. Burkinshaw's famous quote - there used to be a football club over there - seems very appropriate. There's now a world class entertainment venue in its place.

Wales go crashing out in a cruel blow of penalty shootout. Both Irish team's are out too. It's all up to England now out in America in the summer. England in action tomorrow night in a friendly. Looking forward to watching it.

Wins for Reading, Wycombe and Stockport now increases the gap to 4 points between us and the play offs. We have a game in hand over 6th place Reading but the way we have been playing we might as well throw the towel in now and accept life in league one is all but inevitable.

Oh dear...you never know, fingers crossed for you
