What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

9.3 this morning which is disappointing but yesterday I was very nauseous. I took my second Ozempic dose on Wednesday and could barely move due to the nausea.
I couldn’t face taking my meds last night so just took my insulin which is likely reflected in my numbers today.
I’m switching taking my meds with breakfast now so hoping that will help nausea has mostly gone now today!

Definitely jet lagged but kind of nice to be up with the light despite the fog and low temperature …. Brrrrrr …

Libre wake up number : five point five

Nice sub six overnight line

6.0 today last few weeks ranging from 5.4 to 6.5 birthday in a couple of days time .

Appt next week not looking forward to (non medical) lumber fusion pre-op assessment 15th may with op scheduled for the following week. Trying to get out and about as much as possible before op little bit of travel etc, wont be able to do much after op for a while so making the most of the nice run of decent weather.

Dr's surgery wants me in for some 'routine bloods' in a couple of weeks time, i've told them no, as don't see the point due to the pre-op assessment so close they are doing full bloods anyway, asked them to contact the hospital if they need something in particular.

Well, it’s been a bit….
I’ve been focused on my carb intake…or lack thereof. I’m almost strict carnivore, but do eat spices and some carb free condiments. It’s been awesome and my blood sugars have improved a lot.
This morning was 5.7. It’s been about 12 days so I’m happy with that. I don’t spike at all, nice smooth line and Dexcom says my average is 5.5 for the past three days and 5.7 for the past week.
Still hitting the gym, gardening and lots of walking. Weather has been amazing and today we’ll hit 21 in the bright sunshine.
Seems quiet on this thread….hope everyone is well
