No context cuz I honestly don’t know

Bcz I had a hell of a night, I wake up six am and decide to make myself a cup of coffee… I instantly spit it out because it’s disgusting and honestly wonder what adults see in it?
I too had this view till I went to university (living away from home). Suddenly people were all offering me a cup of coffee as a drink when socialising (and this was cheap instant coffee from a jar). I acquired the taste just to fit in. I'm glad I'm not 20 years older or I would have started smoking for the same reason. (But my mother was addicted to smoking, and continually struggled and failed to quit, so I was never tempted to start.)

Re the blood sugar, sometimes it happens to me too. Sometimes doing a set change helps, but sometimes I just have to do a correction dose and never really know what happened. (Though often it's because I've underdosed my carbs and once my bg goes high my pump can't cope because I become much more insulin resistant.)

Virtual hugs from me.

I feel the same about tea. The taste makes me want to be sick. I don’t understand how anyone could like it.

There is good coffee, and bad coffee. All depends on taste.
I hot weather I drink iced coffee. Though I don’t like it too sweet.

As the only coffee drinker at home I use ready ground beans for a cup first thing, but do resort to a strong cup of instant, because I can be a bit impatient first thing in the morning. I couldn’t be bothered with grinding the beans and brewing the coffee. I limit myself to maximum of three cups a day, because otherwise I can’t sleep. I do resort to instant decaff, sometimes.
