I'm due to start with Victoza tomorrow, I know about taking the Victoza itself but what I'm not sure about is when do I take the tablets that i'm supposed to take with the Victoza

Hi and welcome to the forum.

The guidelines from the manufacturers (Novo Nordisk) say:
"Before using Victoza®, tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, especially sulfonylurea medicines or insulin, as taking them with Victoza® may affect how each medicine works.
Your risk for getting hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar, is higher if you take Victoza® with another medicine that can cause low blood sugar, such as a sulfonylurea or insulin. The dose of your sulfonylurea medicine or insulin may need to be lowered while taking Victoza®."

If you take a sulphonylurea (for example gliclazide) then I would phone your doctor for advice before you take any more of them. If you are on metformin then just continue as usual because Victoza is designed to work with metformin.

Hope this helps but if you have any doubts then phone your GP.
