Yes it does do that I had constant stomach ache till they changed me too slow release which suited me much better but you can have humilyn 3 without metformin

I was lucky I was on metphormin 2000 a day and glicazide it wasnt keeping my levels under control they referred me to the diabetic nurses who started me on humilyn 3 and metformin and i havent looked back you have to be organised with food and I've had some lows but I. Much better on this regime

5.3 today levels good had a good 3 month result 49 instead of 59

Good luck you are going on the right direction I'm on humilyn3 and slow release metphormin the only problem I find is having dinner lunchtime because I inject morning and evening meal time put on weight at first because of lows but have now lost some keep going

I wish that would work for me type two but on insulin I normally use dextrose tabs but have had jelly babies for a change just find it really hard not to eat everything in sight more restraint needed

Thanks a lot great ideas shall give some of them a try have upped how much I'm drinking a lot and seems to have helped a bit but will give the seeds a go

I'm the same on humilyn3 and long lasting metphormin and feel better before I was tired all the time I'm so used to the injections the only awkward bit is remembering to do it 15-to 40 mins before I have food good luck
