    3 eggs scrambled with grated Cheddar cheese mixed in and a knob of butter, a Dr Kark emmental and pumpkin seed crispbread to go with it, 2hours later BG =6.2 and I feel full.

    I,m type 2 diet/exercise controlled am find I keep to about 100 gms carb per day with a max of 130 and so far this is fine for me.I try to eat slow release carbs with the odd treat.

    Thats better now we are talking about it, am I right in thinking that moderate exercise is preferable to extreme bursts,ie pulse rate about 110 bpm for 20 -30 mins,to burn blood glucose but not trip into survival mode ?

    I,m Type 2 diet controlled and have to buy test strips, I had a real result in Tesco Pharmacy today, £15.30 for 50, thats £13 less than Boots.
