I don't use the same meters as you but have had the same problem with other meters.i am now unaware of "hypo's" so this is critical to me,so I always test with 2 meters and always use the lowest reading,not ideal,but it has worked for me.Roll on to when I get my pump!

I been diabetic type1 for over 50 years and over the past 2years I have been unable to recognise hypoglycaemia,I therefore getting a pump,but I would happily give up the pump to be able to recognise hypos again as I have excellent control with MDI.

Ratios are very personal calculation and it' takes a while to work out but only from your own personal experiences.So keep records and eventually a pattern will evolve and you will soon be able to work out your own ratios.

I've been waiting for over 50 years for something like this but I don't think I will see this in my lifetime,but possibly a major step forward,the jury is still out, i hope it works out.

After many years of being type1,I have keep records on a hard drive of what I done with illness and my insulin corrections.I find this invaluable so that I can stabilise myBS early rather than later an yes keep testing.

I changed from 8mm to 4mm on the advice of my Endo and had the same problem,I changed back after 3 weeks and I was quickly back to normal,thank god!
