Really high would you do more insulin?

Hey Donna Personally if it was me I'd wait a while longer. Typically quick acting insulin last for 4 hours so if you correct with more quick acting you have a chance of running hypo after. Hope I was of some help.

    Constant sore throat!!!

Hey LittleWolf thanks for the reply. Have you gotten your tonsils out? It's tonsillitis AGAIN!! I struggle with it quite a bit, whenever I get a bit run down it escalates to tonsillitis. For some reason they never take them out but I've been told to get my endocrinologist to book me in with a...

Hey guys hope everyone is well. I've recently been suffering from a chronic sore throat, I'm now on my second dose of antibiotics for 10 days. Anyone play Golf on here?

Hey Aaron I play a lot of golf so maybe I could help you a bit. I was diagnosed April 2012. Type 1 and feeling down!!

I'm 23 years old and was diagnosed a year ago with type1!! Does anyone else out there ever go and speak about having type1? There seems to be a link between diabetes and depression because of the constant monitoring and restraints of the disease. I'm definitely not depressed but sometimes I just...

    Curious!

Drink away and have fun just do it in moderation....the drink that is!!! It can be tricky but testing is key. Also always remember to let your close friends know you're type 1 and what to do in case of an emergency. People can easily mistake you for getting drunk and take no notice but you may...

Very low carb diet and BG levels

Great to get others insight into carbs, really get confused over the topic some time. I suppose its down to the individual really and how and what works for them. Love hearing others opinions. Myself could not live on a low carb diet or so I think anyway. Each of my breakfasts consists of 70g of...

Very low carb diet and BG levels

Low carb diets can be very dangerous in my opinion!! Carbs are the body's main source of energy so I don't see why depriving your body of them is an option. I'm 23 and diagnosed type 1 just a year now. I'm fairly active and recently I was in Australia playing sport and was seeing a great...
