Could this be diabetes related? (Hand problem)

Also, does this sound like it could be neuropathy? I'm hoping it's nothing serious. Maybe carpal tunnel although not sure how to explain the loss of strength, loss of full hand movement and increased reflexes.

Could this be diabetes related? (Hand problem)

Thanks AlaskaRon...I'm sorry that sounds dreadful. I'm suitably in panic, and cannot sleep out of fear. Wish I could drink to sleep but no alcohol here and I haven't drunk in two yrs. No operation or breaks, just the cleaning I do for a job.

high blood sugar effect on concentration

I live with this issue on a minute by minute basis! It makes me feel like not eating, which usually results in my eating anyway and feeling my body go sluggish. I also feel guilty when this happens during work because my work is not the same. Took me a while to realise that when I feel...

Xdrip+ or the official Dexcom app for G5?

I use XDrip+, my phone won't take the official app and I couldn't afford the more expensive phone. XDrip is great and if you aren't part, join CGM in the cloud and xDrip G5 Facebook groups to find out more.

Hi everyone, I'm looking both for support and advice. I work at a physical job at the moment and my blood sugar is 24. I have no energy to continue to work and feel rather frustrated. Blood sugars always frustrate me. I have a terrible fear of going low, and for some reason don't like to...

    Foamy urine

When my blood sugar's were really high, my urine was foamy all the time. I used to be able to judge by the shade of my urine if my sugar's were stable or very high. I don't have a suggestion as to why you're having this, but this i my experience.

Crying for no reason when low blood sugars

Hi, and welcome to the world of diabetes. I laughed when i read that you know to check because "oh I'm crying again". I have that usually with high blood sugar's and my thoughts turn suicidal. I've learnt to test, correct and wait till my sugar's go back to normal. When I'm with a low blood...

    Pizza!

Pizza is fatty so what happens is, you carb count, take insulin but after few hrs once insulin has worked already, the pizza continues to be digested and thus you end with a high sugar. Sometimes it can cause low BG first and then high. The solution is combo bolus on the pump and split insulin...

    High Blood Glucose Levels

Another cause may be taking your insulin in the same spot. Have you tried different areas, tummy, leg, arms? It's important to rotate areas because lumps of insulin can gather under the skin and new insulin injected there will not work as well. Just a tip, when I'm high i inject into my muscle...

Hey Nessa, i read your posts, the opening one in particular i felt you. These posts could have been me a few years ago. I too hated the attention factor and began to believe i was doing it just for attention. I didn't see any mention of diabulmia here - an eating disorder where type one...
