I'm being a bit thick but can someone please explain what LADA is? diagnosed diabetic 22 years ago questioned whether I was Type 1 or 2, they came up with type 1.5!!possibly/maybe?? been on the Pump for two years (best invention ever imho)but have never heard of LADA sorry for the question

Yes particularly at the back where cheeks join the gums.

I get mine the on left side, my tongue and my cheek, sometimes I have ulcers across the top or bottom on inside of my lips.

Asthma/eczema from childhood, Type 1 for 38 years, osteopenia about ten years ago which became osteoporosis 4years ago. Surprise, surprise, coeliac disease 1 year ago.

Myasthenia Gravis first, then underactive thyroid, then type 2 diabetes. Its a daisy chain really - and a flamin' nuisance!

Developed polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) about 7 years ago, which took nearly a full year to diagnose before treatment. Thankfully, now have been off the corticosteroid treatment for over 3 years (remission, yay!).

I was diagnosed with diabetes at age 5 and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis at 8. Really messed me up. Thankfully i was on none steroid (although still really strong) meds. Years later i stopped taking my meds (insulin too) and have been in remission since. I was lucky it went into remission after stopping the meds, my diabetes certainly didn't! Gave me hell of a tough ride, still is.
