Can you say a bit more about this? I didn’t know that a LCP could be prescribed on the NHS. My experience was that my doc was quite stunned at how low I had gone on carbs and my DN dismissed my daily testing and low carb approach.

Hi - I am getting some inconsistent numbers from my meter (9 months old). It’s told me I’m in a hypo a couple of times with readings of under 4. When I try again, it’s 4.8 instead of 3.8. Do you think I need to replace it? I was only diagnosed in Nov last year so it’s my first one.

UK govt has a new policy to fight obesity. It includes stating the calories in restaurant meals and alcoholic drinks. Why not report carbs too? Make it easier for the millions of people with diabetes to carefully manage their carb intake. What other policies would make it easier for you?
