Oh my... never heard of any contracts but maybe because my daughter is just 10? At what age they become so strict with pumps I wonder. I hope it’s a misunderstanding, but I guess such contracts are written by people who have no idea what diabetes really is. Which is strange.

Maybe it depends on the age of the patient? My daughter (9) has it every 3 months. Or maybe it depends on the diabetic team in a particular hospital?

Dear all, I feel a bit confused with what's going on with our daughter's (she's 9 years old) glucose levels. Can't find explanation - doctors can't explain it too. :) The matter is her glucose goes up as soon as she falls asleep. It can be 4.4, or 5.6, or 6.1, but 5 minutes after she fell asleep...

Our daughter was diagnosed this year, we spent 5 days in hospital and we saw so much care from nurses and doctors! They were so friendly, helpful, and - what is very important too - they were very optimistic and supporting. Diabetes didn't look that scary any more in just a couple of days...
