Ahh right. I’ve not started or accepted metformin as was diagnosed just as I went over from 46 to 48. Highest my Hpa1c has ever been was 51 after I gave up smoking. Hoping... I can get back to normal levels on my next test with diet alone

I am wondering whether I ships start metformin? If my next test is 48 or more, I probably will start it. This morning I was in the 7’s but now I am 5.2 and have been most of the day. I don’t. Know why I worry so much to be honest.. I know the next day I’m back to normal and it’s just a blip.

That’s really good! Well done! I wanna get back to 42 or under.. Are you on medication? Or diet only? I do, as a rule, do that. If I do have a treat I’ll take the dog for a longer walk or go on the treadmill but Gin and treadmills don’t mix well lol... not that I drink gin often!

Haha that’s ok, I was slightly tipsy after a few Gins and felt extremely guilty for having a treat night.. I just worry so much when my level is high but it very rarely is. It’s not been over 8.2 since Christmas so seeing a 15 then a 12 sent me a bit panicky! Mind you that test was hour after...

It probably is a silly meal but think I’d rather die younger and enjoy myself while I can than have no life at all and live on lettuce.
