Hi everyone, I hope everyone is good and having a great day....hopefully not to stressed with life i

Hi @GerardSinclair! Yes, I am enjoying a day off from the rat race and doing the things I enjoy. That enlarged spleen is a bit concerning and will need to be followed up. Denial or just plain stupid?

Welcome to the forum @snowysandie. Denial is one of the worst enemies of the diabetic. I was in denial for the first 12 months after my diagnosis. But after two trips to hospital I realised that there was no escape. I feel your frustration and understand that it is a bitter pill to swallow...

Type 2 New to the forum - quick question on shakes and going on a VLCD

Welcome to the forum @GazAgainstFat. I tend to be a bit wary of prepared shakes. I would rather stick to natural healthy alternatives. They can be good for some but not others. It is always advisable to get a professional opinion.

    Low carb diet and exercise

Welcome to the forum @sarahb84. When you exercise and put the body under high energy output, you need a replacement to ensure you are not prone to hypos. When you are taking insulin, you are very prone to hypoglycemia. Glucose tablets, jelly beans or some form of liquid that will replace glucose...
