    Alcohol!

I'm going out tomorrow with some work friends and wondered if a few Malibu's would be a serious issue with my relatively new diagnosis of LADA? Is there anything I can do that enables me to have a drink without going too high or low? So far I'm not on insulin - managing through diet only but...

Ok so I'm not 17 and I don't have friends/family that are really aware if what diabetes is but I feel exactly the same as you. I hate diabetes, I wanted to book a holiday for me, my husband and my daughter but I just don't know how to manage my diabetes in that situation. Family meals are a...

    Gluten free diet

Thanks for your reply. I also started with GD but my bloods for coeliac were negative. I was advised to start gluten free as I have been struggling with unexplained IBS like symptoms that have been getting more frequent. Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    Pregnancy and The Implant

It took us 8 months to get pregnant after having implant removed but I have Endometriosis which no doubt played a part in it taking that long. Type 1 Hospital Overdose~alot to take in!

I try and eat healthily - I aim for less than 130g carbs a day and keep calorie intake at about 1300-1400 and that works for me. Maybe try low GI and just see if it works for you, give it a couple if weeks and if you aren't seeing the changes you want; try something else. Sent from the...

Is it normal for high blood sugars to affect your sleep? My bloods have been reaching more than 10 in the night, I have started waking up, feeling awful. It's taking me hours to get back to sleep - usually when sugars have dropped again. Anyone else get this or have any advice? Thanks, Sarah...
