Can anyone help shed some light on what's happening please!l?

I don't know if I can give you any help, so I'm aiming for the support part. Please don't compare yourself with everyone else. Compare yourself with yourself, as you know, we're all different. 2 months is not a long time at all, so my rule #1 - patience. They do say that FBGs are the last to...

Recently diagnosed not looking for sympathy but help please

Even if I don't agree with you, I'll still advice you to read this wonderful 'nutritional thingy' by Jo. https://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/blog/jokalsbeek.401801/ It sums up dos and don'ts in a very legible way. I agree with: Do get yourself a meter to check your progress. Watch out for the ones...

How long can down the fasting glucose

Hello mileysmileley, and welcome to the forum. You write that you're on low carb, but we often see that people think they are, but eat foods that aren't really. Fruit and cereals, for example. That's why it's a great idea to read Jo's blog on nutrition...

    A coconut pancake?

They're easy and yummy. I recommend them, and on dietdoctor there's a button so you can switch from cups to metric. I can't work with cups either. This is how mine came out.

    Hair loss

Are you having T4 replacement therapy? I had a blood test done today as I've lost about 2/3rds of my previously rather thick mane, as well as all hair on arms and legs and a nice chunk of my eyebrows. Do you still have body hair?

feeling weak lchf not sure keto

I can relate to that. It's so hard to watch the decline of a person you love, especially if that person is a parent whose genetic make up you may have inherited. How old was your dad when he passed away, and did it happen recently? How was he treated for T2, meds? As I see it you're attacking...

    The knives are out..

Well, curiously enough the Danish equivalent to BBC has this article today. https://www.dr.dk/nyheder/indland/nye-advarsler-mod-kolesterolmedicin. I know, I know, it's in Danish, but it's not long and there's google translate, but it warns against side effects. Perhaps some of you have heard of...

Blood sugar reading different on each finger?

I know, it's mind boggling, isn't it? I think most of us, if not all, have tried the same, and I bet you that if I went on a testing spree right now, I'd get different numbers too. In other words, I don't have an explanation for you, just a shared experience. I hope someone else have some words...
