A pump would be lush however, an HBa1c of 6.4 is deemed "to good for a pump" in Oxfordshire. I was double checking the libre with finger pricking as I too had heard about the pressure thing, but the lows were real.

My basal seems ok, I use Libre and up until about 5 or 6am all is usually stable and then my BG just starts rising. I have tried increasing my evening basal and I just end up Hypoing over night.

    Big Shock (not)

Spoke to my GP about prescribing Libre in November, unsurprisingly he didn't really know anything about it (he described it as a button thinky on my arm)! A quick look on the internet-super-highway found the attached, looks like it's a no go for the foreseeable. If only these people realized...

    Freestyle libre blue collar

It's worth ringing/emailing the libre help desk as they are usually quite understanding and very often replace sensors. They will probably be interested in what your bloke did anyway as they are always looking for ways to improve the system.

Tim, thanks for the info, I'll try that at the weekend. I'm using 5mm needles, so would be surprised if I'm intramuscular.

    Humalog action time

I'm using Humalog for bolus on MDI's and I'm finding that with me rather than it peeking in about 2 hrs and tailing off over the next 3ish hrs as most information about it suggests. I'm peeking in about 1hr and it's almost all gone in about 2 1/2 hrs (based on Libre data). My questions are:-...
