    Snack attack

It is tough being diabetic, however, I think we all have discovered a snack that fits into our program that you can share with the rest of the group. My favorite, cut some jalapeno cheese, spread some peanut butter on a celery stick and eat. Simple to the point and does kill my glucose. Plus it...

55yr old Newbie, stunned at NHS advice ...

Welcome newbie, ah the medical field does not surprise me. Just talking about low carbs always sparks a good conversation with the nay-sayers. Just stay true to yourself and continue educating yourself.

Don't involve yourself in the blame game.

The tough part for me is to keep the good numbers you have to basically prepare the food yourself. There is no drop in somewhere and order something quick. Sure you can go out to eat, however, some part of the meal never fits. Just me thinking out loud (well writing out loud). Do I blame myself...

Hello, stressing will do you no good and sounds like you have an abundance of will-power just from reading your progress. I think your 2 hour reading is excellent. Natural herbal supplement

Not the best, tastes like a bitter green apple. I stir fried it with veggies and onions. They have it in pill form in the vitamin shops, must do not like the flavor. I figured if I can grow it, I will figure out how to make it taste a little better from practice runs. I was a little worried due...

Welcome to the board! I think you are right area to start revising your game plan in the way you approach your T2. I will go along with what another member said in that the majority of us on the site manage our glucose by diet. By reading your initial posting this is what I would do if I was...

DESMOND COURSE 'T2D CAN'T EVER BE REVERSED'

Goonergal, good point about what you said about the mindset of remission or reversal. I figure the way I eat with the low carbs is much more healthier lifestyle. Of course to start off it was a little difficult to figure a path for to make sure I was eating right.

    Natural herbal supplement

Funny you mention the bitter root. I ordered some seeds on Amazon and will be growing them soon. I read out bitter melon and you can find the melon in the Asian grocery stores. I did read that you have to watch the dosage due to that you can move down too fast on your glucose level.

Type 2s: What have you eaten today?

Adrian, I must admit I always like reading postings. You always eat the stuff that would cause a spike in most, however, the walking you do is out of this world. Do you always walk? Rain or shine?
