    Nocturia

It might just be idiopathic nocturia. Passing more urine, overnight in volume then during the day, seems to be a natural occurrence for some men. But it is wise to correlate volume with frequency. Prostate problems typically increases frequency whilst decreasing amount.

I read you're not overly impressed with the YouTube videos. But, you might like the channel Type One Talks. I send the link for abdomen placements: Hope this one is better.

Thanks for posting this @Dark Horse

    Supply of needles etc.

One needle one injection. I do believe this also reduces risk of lipohypertrophy. There are photos of a multiple use needle going the rounds every now and then. They're not too good.

    New Biosimilar for NovoRapid Available

Evidently, UK & EU have just approved a new biosimilar insulin. Trurapi is made by Sanofi, and is the biosimilar for NovoRapid. Anybody think they might give it a try? Here's 2 links that I found...

    Swollen legs and feet

I think I might do the opposite to you!! I wouldn’t let antiseptic cream near my legs, it may do well for childhood type scrapes, but that's about it. Diprobase eczema cream has proved very good indeed for accompanying dryness, the surgery likes to use zeroderm as an alternative. Compression...

    Swollen legs and feet

Sometimes, pills for high blood pressure causes this swelling, it appears to be a little refractory to treatment. Suggest seeing practice nurse/GP for evaluation. May be go in afternoon as it's worse then?

New SACN Report for Lower Carb diets for T2

    Possible diabetes

I would advise you to prepare yourself for postponement of the surgery. It is generally considered unwise to perform elective surgery on someone who has uncontrolled/undiagnosed high blood sugars. Your blood test will shed light on the issue - the rise could have been due to current stress for...

    New flexpen

Personally I find flexpen rather loose and rattlesome, if you then factor in a tremor it becomes somewhat of a problem.

    Fybogel

Talk to Pharmacist - I'm pretty sure they do a sugarless version. May be check packet and box and read ingredients? Currently Fybogel is classed as a bowel regulator rather then a laxative. This means it's good for some diarrhoea conditions.

T2 Levels all of the place

Prednisolone, as above post, really upsets BG. What about dehydration? Jardiance certainly causes increase in urine output. Clinical condition sounds like dehydration. Phone 111

Metformin instruction leaflet - maximum dose of 3,000 mg

Licensed dose -up to 3000mg. Recommended dose - up to 2000mg. This is because over 2000mg there is a higher incidence of lactic acidosis. Out of interest, years ago there used to be another drug in this family called phenformin, but it was removed due to its high incidence of lactic acidosis…...
