    I'm a newly diagnosed T2. It still hasn't really sunk in that I have a lifelong diagnosis- my Gran was a T2 so i'm not the first in my family. I am over weight (OK, obese. It crept up on me) but won't be telling anyone the numbers. I don't want to tell anyone. I feel as if people will judge...

    anti depressant

    I was prescribed amnitriptilyne a few years ago following a car accident (i was too uncomfortable to sleep). It worked well, and I slept like a log BUT it gave me a dry mouth and i felt groggy in the morning. It was worth it for the sleep that i got though!

    Sorry, i am a bit bewildered. I have recently had two fasting tests with levels of 7.2 and 7.4. I saw my GP yesterday and she said that I was in the diabetic range and i have an appointment to discuss diet and lifestyle on Monday. She didn't actually use the word diabetic. At least i don't...
