I had to have a trigger finger and a dodgy knee injected with steroids last Tuesday, and my blood sugars have gone very high! I'm T2 on insulin, so can compensate, but has anyone else found this, and how long do they take to return to normal? Thank you.

I make my own style of guacamole with an avocado, Greek yoghurt, a little bit of chilli and seasoning. Or chop them up in salads. Has anyone else found strawberries rather disappointing this year? I eat very few, but the ones I've had have all been rather flavourless!

I've been using celeriac instead of potato nowadays, I boil it then mash it up with butter and seasonings it's really nice, and also freezes.

That's very interesting, Jenny 15. It has been commented on that now my bgs have settled down I'm not nearly as irritable as I was before. And I do feel calmer about life in general - more accepting of my situation maybe.
