Thank you all for your comments, the 31. Reading was mid morning but after the two hour deadline for post meal . I was feeling weird that's why I took a reading ..Thank you Himtoo I will give that a go.

Could I please ask for some advice,.... I had hba1c test done in February it came Back at 40mmol's 20/42 doctor said I am not diabetic or pre, I tested using my code free monitor and was higher than the tables on here for levels, I stopped taking readings as doctor said I should.. now one day...

5.9 this morning ,,I do like to see those 5's

6.8 today and a no carb day today I think, I will get these readings down !

I would love to know why I get 9.5 on a fasting. Ac1 test said not diabetic at 40mml's..and have readings of 9+ to11.5 in the daytime post meals ..had a day without carbs two days ago pre meals 5+ post highest 7.2 I don't know whether I am coming or going !

b.fast was scrambled eggs with tomato ..lunch was home made cauliflower and broccoli soup with a banana for pudding...i may be wrong in doing this, but test from doc ac1 came back 40 mmols he said ok... but when i look at pre/post bloods on the chart on here i am pre dia. readings so am...

On waking my b.s. was 10. That was at 8.26am (a lay in ) off work at 1152 am it was still 10...I don't know what's happening...can vertigo and inner ear infection which I have not been given medication for cause b.s. to raise...or anything in your body make it go up as ac1 test again no...

Th hba1c was a fasting test, others were two hour post , the 17+and 13+ were readings I took when I felt weird and had to sit down .I have been sat drawing and had head ache dizzy and be read 9.2...oh I am confused now I thought the hba1c test was supposed to tell yes/ no and that was it.o_O

From a very sunny but nippy York...had my hba1c results today40mmols/mol (20-40)...doctor said this is ok so idiot have diabetes and after showing my readings to him he said they were in normal range , though I don't think many of them were in normal range to the chart on here...

The lowest yet 5.7...maybe that's because I am fasting for bloods to be taken this morning..down from 10.7at 9.45 pm last night...maybe that is it ...don't eat= lower reading lol;)
