10.7 at 8am.Usual range 10.3 to 12.5. 7.1 to 7.8 at bedtime. Only time I got a low morning reading was when i drank a huge glass of cranberry juice at 3am. Starting to gather enough readings to show I might have the Dawn syndrome.

Thank you all for replying. After i last posted my levels went up to 11.2. And i was still wobbly and shaky til about an hour ago. My GP said it could be the metformin SR still in my body and to keep testing. She expects it to settle down in the next couple of weeks. I hope not to go back on...
