I have never seen my GP so flabbergasted

Feels like they honestly do Clockwork Orange style so they never forget it. I really await them suddenly realising that dietary advice is giving their own children and grandchildren a veritable cocktail of metabolic issues.

    LCHF without ketosis - Beneficial?

@Shas3 It's how I choose to look at it, I try to at least keep under 30g and as long as I am seeing results from that and my fasting regime? I don't worry about the details so much. It's about making it sustainable for yourself so you keep going not to push it to the point of burning out.

Perhaps I have a fair few cunning plans for all of this! Well yes I am going to be going on a baking spree, got some cocoa and so on plus I do want to try the 3 minute bread out too so I can shunt my Dad into keto a little more too. Thanks for the tip with the ground almonds, I will have to...

@ziggy_w It really is and my Grandma is really into it now that she's out of the 'flu' stages so she wants to get some cookbooks going and really go whole hog which makes my life easier let me tell you. @DJC3 I regret NOTHING about this! Happy that @zauberflote and @Goonergal are now a part of...

I have never seen my GP so flabbergasted

Hi all! Amusing little anecdote for today as I ended up going to see my GP for a bit of a follow up about my blood pressure and another chronic issue I've been having. I told him the results from the endo and I swear he was taken aback and giddy about it all, seeing how I turned my life around...

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.8 today so I am on the downward trend so going back to OMAD again but I am convinced my meter is trying the mess with me because it gave me a 6.8 like a moment later. @SaskiaKC that was utterly beautiful to read.

Heh, sorry I should have mentioned ITV there but @Listlad beat me to it. Some of the weird ways people choose to get a quick fix too was mind boggling.

    Save Money: Good Diet

Just a small giggle tonight to myself about the show's findings, the episode tonight did have the keto diet being tested and found that pound for pound it was the most efficient and cheapest way to lose weight out of all 16 diets they have tested so far. Not so surprising for me but they did...

Back at it with my HiiT tonight! 5 minutes warm up, 20 minutes time interval training and then 5 minutes stretches. Note to self: OMAD has been so powerful for me, I'm still full of energy but my muscles are screaming so not tonight my old friends...
