    Burnout

I've an 'urgent' appointment for the endocrinologist. Its the 24th of December. My GP refuses to prescribe fiasp or testosterone or try and bring appointment forward. I could probably do with counselling or MH support but I don't trust the Gp to attempt to help me.

20 years old. Am I type 2 diabetic?!?!

Go to your GP and ask for a finger prick test from the nurse, it looks to me that you might have more possibility of type 1 than 2 and they should tell you within a couple of minutes. or just walk into the chemist and ask for the same. Good luck.

    Tramadol

Since surgery my insulin needs have reduced dramatically (about 1/3 less insulin over a day) This is a known phenomenon where stress increases blood sugars and therefore removing the stress (pain) drops bgs too much resulting in a hypo. Its a thing apparently.

Thanks all, I feel less likely to cry at any second today so that's good. Probably something to do with 6 hours uninterrupted sleep. Hugs to all x

Are we going to die post-Brexit?

Probably you will die post brexit. Its unlikely to be due to supplies running out though. Some emergency such and such will be brought in no doubt. Might be best to get some extras in if you can though.

    Burnout

Hey guys, I've had a super ****** weekend and I'm sick of feeling sick. I ended up in a+e with bgs of 26 and ketones after a cannula kinked. I had replaced it but bgs weren't coming down and I couldn't keep any fluids down. They started out well but then wanted to give me 10u of actrapid after...

    Any Known Issues with Pharmacy2U?

I've used them for a few months as my doctors are awkward to get to and had no issues. Doesn't stop my Dr being awkward though.
