If I'm not mistaken I took that pill years ago. What it does is it stops your body from absorbing the fat in your food, right? It'll even give you racer tummy if your fat intake is higher than the pill 'likes'? Kind of a fat antabus. Again, if I get that part right, it didn't help me one bit...

I'm on Xarelto for life, also an anticoagulant. I don't have to have my blood tested for INR, but I know that with certain types of meds you do. Was just wondering if it might be worth your while to look into switching to Xarelto ...? Could save you one source of frustration :)
