    I’ve been training for a year MB, maybe I came from a particularly low base! But I’ll definitely get a copy of that book, it chimes with the weight loss / controlled carb / improved fitness approach I’ve been working. I think what I want to do now is to improve my understanding of the disease...

    I’m experimenting with more frequent testing at the moment. I had a 6.3 when I woke this morning (6.30), I thought I would test immediately after my 7am circuit training and it was 10.2. Mean anything?

    6.3 at 6.30, but I did have the bulk of my daily carbs yesterday when I got home at 10pm, so it’s better than I expected!

    I’m going to wind you up then Ian... Boxing training at 10am and circuits at 6pm, currently 15.2k steps. Life is swings and roundabouts though. I have to go and watch Wigan Athletic at the weekend, so, y’know, you have that.
