SCANNING FOR READINGS ON SMART PHONE

Yes, I seem to remember trying to engage with this Libre 2+, but when I realised that if I started my sensor by scanning with the meter (or reader,), then I could not use the function with my phone? (or was it the other way round?) Anyway, I think that decided me not to go forward with it...

SCANNING FOR READINGS ON SMART PHONE

So is this new soft ware? Mine is not Libre 2+, but is Libre 2?

SCANNING FOR READINGS ON SMART PHONE

I have a Libre 2 and I do not use automatic updates.

SCANNING FOR READINGS ON SMART PHONE

I have tried scanning by taking the case off the phone but it has made no difference. This is so frustrating! It does not scan properly about 9 times out of 10. Surely I am not the only one getting fed up with this? I end up just using my little meter as that never fails, but sometimes I...

    Another Day Another LOW/HYPO!!!

This going low to around 4.7 has happened to me a number of times. I have concluded that I better not get up too late in the mornings to ensure my BG goes neither too high, nor too low before I have chance to correct the excesses. Your graph does look like you are going to extremes. I would...

SCANNING FOR READINGS ON SMART PHONE

It works fine with the meter, but there are always problems when using my phone.

SCANNING FOR READINGS ON SMART PHONE

I have a libre 2 with a sensor on my upper arm. I use my meter to do readings most of the time, but when I try to do a reading with my phone, I am constantly frustrated because it doesn't seem to connect properly! It makes a little bleep or two but does not achieve the full tune! Hence...

new - understanding glucose levels/variation plus seronegative background

There are quite a few technical terms here which I do not know without doing research. But I did find this site which might be helpful to you? https://asianheartinstitute.org/blog/blood-sugar-level-chart-by-age/

    I-port from Medtronic funding

Ok, thanks for your response. I am afraid I don't know anything about this---- but I will have to do a bit of research!

    I-port from Medtronic funding

I am not sure what you are hoping to have funding for?

    Libre scans per day?

Isn't there some issue with this regarding use of readers/phones? I cannot remember which way round it is, but I think one or the other cannot use this blue tooth function?

Non-diabetics telling me how easy it is!

Yes, I have often thought that as well. It does give a more positive ring to Type 1, despite everything....!?

Non-diabetics telling me how easy it is!

I absolutely agree with your last paragraph especially!

Are you on statins? My GP keeps encouraging me to go on statins but I have decided not to.

Cholesterol level rose on low carb diet

It seems to be the case as far as I am concerned, and I have also read articles about this, that the low carb diet affects a person's LDL cholesterol levels in that it raises the level. Mine certainly went up after I changed to a low carb diet. Total cholesterol these days is around...

    Blood sugar spikes with running

Well, that is interesting! My BG goes down when I walk (not fast), down when I go on my elliptical machine (not too much exertion mind), and up when I do stretching or a small amount of weight lifting.... I have no idea how this works!

Are more people getting Type 1 in their late twenties and early thirties?

Yes, that is what seems to be the case.
