    Blood Glucose 4-5 hours postprandial

Yeah getting a libre can really help sort things out with regards to meal and exercise and timing. Here’s my typical day, I rise in the morning and burn it off at the gym ( note the peak). This is a few months ago, when I was still snacking on cheese, peanut butter and avocado smoothies and not...

    Aspirin !

I stopped, I read a couple studies that show aspirin may reduce protein synthesis. Probably only applicable to people using fitness to control T2.

    Oil the enemy?

I personally don’t believe all seed oils are bad. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34417277/ I think it’s more of an issue of over consuming high carb + high fat at the same time. I also don’t have an issue with palm or coconut oils.

Is carb intake related to exercise in anyway?

Yeah, I pretty much only eat carbs around exercising. Even then I only have just enough for fuel. 40-60 grams is enough for me.

    Are cheat days allowed?

Yep, imho, it okay A, if you’re flat out hungry because you’re cutting too hard, it’s okay to add a meal that fits your diet plan. This isn’t really called a cheat, I like to think of it as a re-feed, B, if you have some favorite meal you can’t live without, have it, however you can still...

Diet suggestions after 800 calorie diet

That’s the problem with those kinds of diets, you don’t learn how to prepare your meal plan. if you’re above 30% body fat, you’ll do excellent just by following keto or carnivore and even better if you can add 30 minutes of walking per day. I would start tracking your calories, just to...

    Weightloss stalled

How long have you been dieting? If you’ve been dieting for many months, I would consider taking a diet break. Add in a couple eggs for breakfast, something nutritious. Drop to about 1400 calories after your energy returns, if you start feeling drained, go back up to 1700. that’s pretty much...

    Diabetic Cures?

My mother cured her diabetes. She doesn’t cook meals anymore and just grazes on cheese, nuts, apples and the occasional stick of black licorice. She has a cup of coffee in her hand all day. Doc pulled all her meds, even the statins. she had a shoe box full of medications, I took her to see...

How fat is a fatty Liver (or Pancreas)

Lol, just hit 88kg down from 132. I’ve had people ask me if I had surgery, or If I have some health issues. I just tell them I’m golden, I just quit eating rice, which goes over well in East Asia, but it’s kinda the truth. I’m still at 20% body fat, so yeah it seems the body is really good at...

    Burning legs when exercising

Your muscles will adapt, get stronger and should burn less over time. Your body will do a certain amount of vascular remodeling as you adapt. All good things. No pain no gain lol. Provide your body with the tools to adapt, eat good (protein), sleep good.

Has anyone experimented with more carbs pre/post workouts?

Basically, I’m suggesting you do what ever it takes to both, kill it at the gym, and maintain awesome BG levels. I’m also saying, don’t be too alarmed at your BG levels during your workout. IMHO, you should order one or two libre sensors so you can optimize your pre/post workout meals regarding...
