    You do not say if your mother is a Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetic but her blood sugar levels seem way out of control. Has she been to see the Doctor about this ? It may be that she needs a change in her Insulin regime( your profile mentions Insulin ? ) so that her Levels can be controlled better.
