I did research on statin and cholesterol yesterday and decided to stop my meds. Not enough research to confirm the need for it, but plenty adverse reactions.

    Newbie considering 8 week diet

Change your Doctor. I would never trust him again. He is not up to date. Low carb+exercise+regular testing is the way of life for millions of diabetics. Medicine helps a bit only. Be serious, because D is a progressive disease and people end on insulin if they ignore it. It is only up to you how...

    First week on Low Carbs

Some statements here are confusing me. I have seen statements from reputable organisations that if one has diabetes it is important to eat many small meals a day (6) I never ate breakfast before but now I have. Is it OK to fast? I googled and found this:....sooo confusing...

    Prediabetes

I am in the same shoes. Exactly like you. I am now 2 weeks on low carb diet. And it is so hard to find balance between cholesterol and low carb diet. I have decided to ignore the Cholesterol within limits. I am not sure if that is OK, but I avoid obvious fat on foods, and try to cook food so if...

    Totally Lost Type2.

I was recently diagnosed. Still trying to figure it out on my own. It took me 2 month to accept that I have D. Now my best investment has been to read read and read 14 hours a day to understand it all better and avoid complications. And I test test and test too. I am now 2 weeks on this diet...
