Congratulations........everything will be fine, its clear you may be a bit more anxious, but all that means is you will be making extra effort to keep stable, which in the long term, is good......
Are you wanting to know if you can go back to the Lantus or if you can adjust the new Toujeo....?
I have no personal experience with toujeo but in the absence of that info I would start on the same doses as before and then adjust as needed with basal testing..
There could be many things that could be contributing......... but lets assume your basal insulin dose is right....
the correction you gave probably wasn't enough......at those high levels, you are a lot more resistant to insulin than normal.....
how much did you take to correct....?
have you...
The dosing will be the issue.......most of us type ones calculate our doses with precision, so a pill might not do the job as effectively.....
If they could coat the insulin molecules in some kind of substance that broke down as levels increased and vice versa, that might be better...
When your making alcohol does the sugar not get used up in the fermenting process....?
I wouldn't expect to see any sugar content in any spirit.....
Am I just being silly.....?
A lot of folk online using this Chinese variant seem to always use it with a watch............I assume this is optional......the phone will work just as good....?
I am fortunate at the moment to be virtually complication free........
I if I had neuropathy pain like you have then my ability to work, at least in certain jobs, would be limited.....
Sorry to hear you unable to do more.....if you feel even your part time hours is a struggle don't feel bad...
Not a Libre user but from reading it does seem it doesn't perform too well at the extreme low and high end of the scale.....
But that error you had seems like it could be faulty though.....and I expect Abbott will replace it for you.....
I would expect your doctor to know what's best for you......
I always assume that metformin is the first pill a doctor would use for a type 2........but, being a type 1, that may be wrong...
I see a type one diagnosis as few nights minimum in hospital, in order to get the baseline doses sorted out.....
I suppose if you have been exposed to diabetes before, which you have on some level, you may be in a better position than those who haven't been exposed, but you still need to get...
Ha ha, its just a wee bit metallic....
I seem to think that the saliva actually helps close up the hole quicker, but that might just be me fantasizing.......;)
I would probably take the dose at the moment of eating but just do a negative correction......
my pump has the bolus wizard to help me with those calculations however it can be done manually...
