Yeah, I don't use it constantly.......not during the day at work anyway...... I am using the coolfire ultra mod with an extended 7ml SMOK tank......on 60w, which seems to be more power than most I have thought...

    Holiday

Are you fairly new to it all.....? You can literally eat and drink anything you want..... boat trip should be cool too.....as you should always carry hypo treatment with you at all times......

    Alcohol

I take a good drink pretty regularly and its perfectly manageable with the diabetes.....but only because I have got the experience and my doses are right..... until you're at the point, its all trial and error and of course safety first....

    Vaping and Diabeties

Been vaping full VG for a couple of years now, no issues with blood sugars so far..... A 10ml bottle usually lasts me a couple of days though, so I probably don't use as much as some people...

Let me be a lesson to all of you (aged 20)

I am personally surprised at the damage you think has been done over such a short space of time...... I was diagnosed at 15 and was on a mixed insulin........I smoked, drank, took recreational drugs, so my body took a beating diabetes wise, and for about 5 or 6 years, was probably in DKA quite...

    2 Month Sickness

I had a bag cough and head aches/runny nose between January and March/April....... I waited that long to actually finally book a doctors appointment, but eventually got better before the appointment came.. It can be difficult managing these symptoms alongside the blood sugars.....fortunately...

    Referral??

NO personal experience as I am type one, but it doesn't surprise me this is normal in some locations up and down the country...... I would be pushing for a follow up appointment at least so they can review the effects of the oral medications....

    Continuous glucose monitors

What issues are you experiencing overnight? You realise that you can map out your levels overnight without Libre, certainly enough to make effective dose adjustment decisions...

    Pumps and night shifts

I would always just keep them the same until the data shows I need to adjust.......and then a basal pattern can be programmed in ,allowing it to be turned on and off at leisure....

    Omnipod Pre Bolus

Where does it all come from........:bookworm::bookworm::)

    Omnipod Pre Bolus

I think pre bolus and the time the motor takes to deliver the insulin are different things...... I wouldn't expect the time it takes to deliver the insulin for a normal bolus to be adjustable or to have an effect on levels either....

    Healed eyes

Well done...... I have a smaller success story in that the spotted maculopathy in one of my eyes, monitored every three months for a year, then put me back to once a year...I don't think its gone but its definitely not getting worse.... I can sympathise with the trigeminal neuralgia....the...

why are some of us not happy with morning readings ?

As long as you remain in the non-damaging range then you are doing fine......even if you don't achieve it you are not failing in any way.... mornings are always are more resistant period of the day....... get the people who achieve fours in the morning with no meds to come and tell you how...

    Advice on trends

Looks like overnight basal could be a bit too high.... as for the meal time dose......as @porl69 states, giving the dose a bit longer to work means that the insulin's peak and the peak or the food will match more closely....
