In and out of the fridge?

Well, I have never used a Frio bag, but like I said above, if they reach room temperature they can't be put back in the fridge, as it is not recommended by insulin manufacturers. If the Frio bag keeps your spares below 8 degrees celsius then yes they can be put back in the fridge when you get...

In and out of the fridge?

Im not sure I understand your question but I will try to answer. I have been told once I take insulin from the fridge and it ever reaches room temperature, not to put it back in the fridge, and it is only good for the 28 days. If you have had it cool and then put it back in your own fridge, it...

How much do these vitamin tablets raise sugar?

Hello, thankyou for replying, 1 tablet weighs 30 grams, I checked the nutrition online and there was no carb information, but each tablet provides 0 calories, does that mean the amount of sugar in these tablets is pretty much negligable? I also only drink it while eating my dinner or tea.

Poll: Which diabetes course(s) have you attended?

DAFNE course greatly reduced my blood sugars and introduced me the world of carb counting, 3 years after diagnosis, never heard of it before that just used to guess.

    Diabetes Burnout.

Speaking of apps above, the Mysugr app has been the best phone tool I have used to keep track of my bloods on a graph that I can see patterns, leave notes for myself etc, I have had much tighter control through that app.

    Driving with t1

I was diagnosed at 15 and started learning to drive at 18-19. You're best off mentioning you're a type 1 diabetic to any potential driving instructor as they may or may not let you drive with them. Before driving, try make sure your blood sugar is above 5mmol/L, you can still drive below this...

    Biggest NHS costs

Recently NHS Sunderland CCG posted these posters around regarding paracetemol, , wasting as much as, apparently, £673,000, if it is given on prescription. I assume thats a rough estimate, but if you divide that by the 95 that happened in that year, it would work out at just over £7000 per HIP...
