    Who knew!

I can see why a massage may cause issues with absorption etc, but I think in the modern day with pumps and analogue insulin's, it doesn't really apply..... So you should have your birthday massage.... ;)

    Basal Insulin Help Plz!

There may be small adjustments needed with insulin/carb ratios and correction factors, but now that you have committed to the basal split, you ideally need to get both those doses adjusted first, then tackle the rest of it.... So are you going to try 6 units of Lantus at 7pm? The true effect...

    Freestyle libre availability

So, lets say I wanted to carry out a basal test overnight with the Libre.... Will I get a different picture with the Libre than I would simply testing blood before bed and on waking?

    Freestyle libre availability

Oh, I don't know why I am struggling to understand the functionality of it.... I have seen images of peoples graphs overnight......suggesting readings have been taken while they sleep......is this not the case.....is the libre just joining a pre bed and waking scan...?
  17. novorapidboi26

    Freestyle libre availability

I haven't used the Libre, but allegedly it can scan automatically overnight, without physically touching the reader/phone
  18. novorapidboi26

    Freestyle libre availability

Does the app take you through the sensor activation then? When you are using a phone only...? And does the overnight scanning work with a phone...?

    Basal Insulin Help Plz!

I know you're reluctant but moving it to the PM is definitely a consideration.....just do it in a controlled setting obviously.... Lantus does in theory have a peak but it quite undefined, so shouldn't really be having a significant effect, but everyone's different.... you could try taking an...
