    I would say that it is probably the bread. I used to eat Asda White bread which has 18g Carbs per slice. I now make my own low carb bread or bread buns & the carbs are usually around 4g per serving

    I have had Neuropathy for years. Mine was brought on through Chemotherapy. Pain killers may help to alleviate some pain but you do need to ensure that you exercise regularly. Try walking for 30 minutes a day but also ensure that you do not over to do it.

    You should wait at least 1 hour after exercise before testing. I find that after a 5Km run that my Bg is down on the pre run test if a wait an hour rather than do it immediately post exercise

    In regards to Almond flour, do not buy it but buy Ground Almonds as this is cheaper & exactly the same thing

    Hash Browns do not belong in any English breakfast as they are American. I usually have 2 Sausages 2 bacon & scrambled egg for y breakfast. Total Carbs: Suages5.4 & a smidgeon for the butter to scramble the eggs

    When Exercising you should test before & then at a minimum of 1 hour after exercise. Your BG will be elevated if you take it immediately after finishing exercise

    My pre Breakfast BG is nearly always around 8.2 Would the fact that I have tea or Coffee just after getting up therefore before taking test have any effect on this
