    What new food have you started eating since diagnosis?

    Mine is every kind of vegetable/fruit available, I never ever used to eat healthy and it's completely changed my life. Can't imagine life without a plate of vegetables every day hahaha

    A couple of my blood sugars have been above 10 the last two days and I can't figure out why. I haven't changed my diet, just 3 meals a day of the same variety of things. One biscuit a day to keep them from going low Does anyone have any idea what it could be? Obviously everyone is different...

    Chocolate suitable for diabetics.

    Recently been on holiday in Cornwall and I found a shop that sold something called 'Raw Chocolate' It is gluten free, dairy free and sugar free.     How much do you take?

    I take 9 units of Nova-rapid at breakfast, 8 at lunch and 10 at dinner. Also 17 units of Levemir at night.

    I've been told an average of 1 unit per 10g of carbs. The total carbs in the bread was 32g carbs. Also, because I'm newly diagnosed, I'm not sure on adjusting my insulin doses yet because the nurses have been doing that for me until I'm ready.
