I should be going on the cellnovo pump in the coming few weeks. I was supposed to be going on it a few weeks back but there was a problem with the pump so the hospital couldnt issue it to anyone since there were too many problems at the time.

Hello i was wondering how long everyone took of school/work for when they started their pump. My nurse did say that i will have to take some time off but she didnt say how long.

1:1 isn't that alot?? So for example if you have 10g carbs you would inject 10units?

dont think cellnovo is such a great idea since i was due on it this week but it as been delayed since manufacturer cant send any out as thy are faulty and they needs serious tweaking

2.8 it was really weird as i didnt feel anything but above 3 i always feel it but under 3 i dont

i have suchh bad luck as the start has been delayed to a month later :(

Cellnovo and i decided on this pump due to it being tubeless and all the past problems have been fixed

Somehow i finally got the courage to ask my nurse about pumps and i had a prepump assesment in the beginning of january. Also im starting on it next month on feb 10th. SOOOOO EXICTED!!!!!! Its quite weird how people told me it might take like 3 month in total but im getting it in a few weeks...

can you give a bolus straight from the pump or can you only do it from the handset
