Thank you both bluetit and squire it has helped me. Yes I have a meter and test my self often, I seem to be on the range of 7 and 8 I find that is too high, but still trying new ways and adjusting portion size. It's difficult when family does not eat the same as me. I don't eat pasta or rice...
Hi! Is any body type 2 and diet controlled and not on meds? If so I would like to hear how you get on with eating and ecesise I find difficult at times. Not sure what to try and what not try. Being in this forum has helped a lot to understand carbs.
Jtl your advice is good. I'm type 2 food controlled . I have my blood test in November and if good then I'll continue with diet only, or else I'll be put on meds. Any one diet controlled ?
Derry are you on meds? As your BS seems good. And what do you eat, if you don't me asking, I'm trying so hard but it keeps going up and down. I also want to ask, how often does one eat, is it better to eat every 3 or 4 hours?
Alison I had two chappati 's, blood sugar before meal was 6.4 and two after was 9.7. I should have eaten 1 chappati only . But lower than when I eat wheat chappatis . Will try 1 tmrw and check BS . But have read dr Axe review regarding barely flour good for diabetic.
I add a little olive oil, sprinkle salt chillie powder if you like mix altogether and slow cook in oven making sure it doesn't burn, cool and store, eat when ever you like. Enjoy.

hi I'm new to the forum, I have been browsing for a while and just figured out how to go on it. Lol I'm T2 recently diagnosed, my doctor recommended this web and I think it's brilliant.
