    Salad dressings

Everything is a minefield isn't it? Trying to keep the husband going with salads and I find on Sainsburys that salad dressings are full of carbs and sugar. What do you all use? Because we can't stomach nekkid lettuce!

    Dr Bernstein's Diet

Does anybody still follow this diet? Husband had huge success when first diagnosed and on this, I keep thinking to go back to it now. But that was nearly 18 years ago - although I suppose it wouldn't be that different as it very low carb. What are your thoughts on it?

Looking for the best VLC cuppa soups - anybody got suggestions? Bearing in mind I know home made from scratch is better and I have done that for many years, but just now I've not got the energy to cook at all.

    Help please- totally bored here!

We're off eating altogether lately as our meals are getting so boring. I'm not a good cook at all, my mum lived on coffee and fags so I never learned and also I have quite bad ME and get very easily tired. So I tend to stick to easy-to-cook meals with no faffing about. I need to find out how...

    Odd BG readings

Why would hubby's BG start climbing around 5pm and keep on climbing? He had 2 boiled eggs and a cup of tea and the reading one hour was 7.4, after two hours was 8.2. Now at bedtime without anything else to eat, he's testing at 8.7. Type 2 doing low carb, no meds. (Reason he's testing so often...
