pump has gone down with a stuck button after speaking to Medtronic help line we managed to free it but they are sending a new pump should get it tomorrow. they where most helpful on the phone and could not do enough for me. I have to say a big thanks to Medtronic team.

ab1c down to 44
insulin down to 54 units
b.s. down to average 5.8
all in all brill results I think.

I have seen the consultant to Day. he was amazed at the progress and results I have since starting on the pump.
a1c down to 69 from 114++
insulin down to 67.3 units ( from 700 on mdi)
I am 97% in target with an average bg of 6.5 from high 20s

got given my pump to day Minimed 640G told to play around with it for a week then back next week to start pumping. (at last, been a long tough fight).

the pump as now been approved. I speak to the pump nurse on Monday, this will be to discuss which pump and to get a start date?. I would appreciate any help and advice that you can give on the type of pump I should look at.

I need some help with my insulin needs that I think are extremely high.
lantus 120 units twice a day
apidra 100+100+100 units per day
with a correction of 1unit to one carb up to 70 units a day for corections
on low carbs of 50 to 60 per day.
