    So I went up to 7.2 and now I want to eat some cheese thins and have 1 unit i like eating a lot of snacks and since i have had complications with eating i find snacks help

    Just done my bm and it is 4.3 i know it is normal but I feel like a snack so I will have 1 units with 4 crackers and test again soon this is easier than i though I just have to do more bms to be really good at this [emoji2]

    Feeling very positive

    Since finding out about hba1c only like 2 days ago I will find out what my hba1c is & make a record of this & am going to measure my weight each month until I reach my recommended weight i am about 6st.8 and I should be at least 10 or 11st so new targets to work towards

    Tomorrow's breakfast

    I might have 3 boiled eggs and a avocado for breakfast instead of my oats with peanut butter and a banana

    Update

    I was 5.1 and had 2 slices of pizza and had 4 units of insulin i think this may be the start to a better lifestyle as long as I keep my carbs and sugar low i can manage this

    Exercise

    It's getting near to winter and i like to go walking around the park but can't because my foot is in a cast so I will be trying to focus on my stomach exercises and weight training instead of my usual power walking

    So I went up to 16.8 and just took 5 units and haven't eaten anything else since breakfast stuff like this makes me get angry and lose hope

    Just woke up with my levels at 8.6 going to keep trying i believe that I can reverse nerve damage caused by not having good control of my diabetes time to take care of myself and look forward to a bright future

    Had 3 bags of crisps & then had 7 units of insulin if I wach my sugar levels then I don't think I will have a hypo 12.8 was my last reading so I think I will be ok

    So I tested and my levels went up to 15.4 i can only think that the blueberry juice has brought it way up so i took 2 units of insulin & will test again in 1 hour [emoji36]

    Unsure about meds with different sickness

    So last year I was wondering if my insulin was working due to a illness called melanosis coli which I have because of smoking basically it speeds up how fast food travels through my body and it was hard because i assumed food didn't stay in my body long enough for anything to be absorbed
