Hello, I recently restarted on Novorapid following a confirmed diagnosis of Type 1 - my eyes feel very watery. Can anybody tell me if this could be related to the new usage of Insulin? My vision is blurred too but this happened when I started on insulin for 3 months last year. Thanks in advance.

I recently switched from insulin to Metformin and Glicazide - I take the Metformin with my meals and have had really low readings as compared to taking insulin. I was advised to take with meals to protect my tummy but also what good can it do if you have no food in your system? Fascinated that...

Apologies for my lack of knowledge but what is LCHF? I am newly diagnosed and learning! I am obviously really lucky, I have an amazing diabetic nurse who provided me with meter and strips and rang me daily for the first week of my diagnosis and always at the end of the phone.

Wow what a great group of friendly people! :) I really am a beginner with all this, can anybody point me in the direction of a site that will help me learn to Carb count? Also, I am looking for ideas on good things to snack on that won't blow my sugar - thanks in advance x
