Hi Sue Thanks for your help. I had around 40% of my pancreas removed but have chronic pancreatitis which is obviously progressing hence the diabetes. It's so confusing. Thanks again, Paul x

Hi I had pancreatitis back in 2008 with pseudocysts which caused some narcrosis of my pancreas which subsequently had to be removed, then I had a recurrence in 2011 followed by diabetes in 2012. I'm otherwise fit and not overweight so would that make me a type 3c as my diabetes nurse and doctors...

Hi I had a bad experience with Metformin, always felt bloated and didn't have any appetite so my doctor put me on the modified release Metformin and I've been fine for two year with them.

I had pancreatitis and my diabetes will progress was just hoping for a little longer on the tablets. Worried about my motorbike license and insurance etc with diabetes. I can't swim with my knee but I've been doing a little walking (hopping) back to work next week so plenty of exercise there :)

I've had to bits of Physio and a sheet of paper with pictures with what I have to do haha I'm up and about and driving again and it's healing nicely. I hope you recover from you fall soon :)

Mine was 11.7 yesterday morning :( but 6.8 today maureen5752. I've got my flu jab next Tuesday but I've been struggling with my levels for a few weeks now and nearly maxing the gliclazide out so think it'll be insulin soon :( oh the joys!! Hope your better this morning [emoji6]
