Thank you so much as I now know the test is against plasma which means I have to adjust my mindset to accept that my readings are nowhere as bad as they seem - so when I see a 6.5 reading at lunchtime it is OK to eat!!

Sounds like you have the same problems as me . I also have osteoarthritis in my hands so I understand exactly your difficulties. I waste strips because I get an Error 3 when I don't get enough blood on the strip first time. I was also sent the meter and told the Freestyle lie was obsolete.
