    stress induced T2 ?

I was diagnosed with T2 back in 2010 at 32 years old. No family history of diabetes. My GP discussed the cause being stress and working shift work which totally could have been the case. The more I look back at the time I was diagnosed it makes sense that it was stress and not lifestyle.

    Tattoo

My right foot took a long time to heal but I wasn't diagnosed as Type 2 then so looking back that makes sense as to why it didn't. My left foot healed well but slowly. At the time my meds were helping me keep good BG levels. I think that is the key when getting one. Make sure your levels are ok...

    Confused?!?! Please advise.

I visited my diabetic nurses this week for my A1C results. She advised me that it is 7.2. Bearing in mine my last one was 10.5. With this in mind she still wanted me to get it lower. I advised that I was finding this difficult at the moment as I was feeling hungry all the time. She advised to...

Type 2 - BG 17.7 ........worried, need advice please

In my experience as T2 it took a while for my bloods to settle down. At first my bloods were in the teens for quite a while but I had close contact with my GP and Diabetic Nurse. Don't be scared to ask these questions to your GP or DN. If they are not approachable and you don't feel they are...
