    Call me stupid :facepalm: but I have only just realised while shopping today that I can now have Brie !! So guess what I had for lunch .... a bowl of things I love .... Prawns, toms, cucumber, peppers, with mayo & peanut butter to dip & Brie .... so happy :)

    I have to admit to not self testing my bloods but my a1c is back in the normal range at 35 .... my GP is really pleased with my progress as that is now without any metaforim

    This is the first time I have gone over 24hrs & it has happened quite naturally. Will eat dinner tonight with my husband & that will be a 48 hrs fast done. I'm really chuffed that I can do it & find it hard to believe there has been no hunger :)

    Oh ... don't give up .... I had a really hungry day a few days ago ... ate too much (altho stayed with LCHF food) ... ended up going to bed early to stop myself eating. Went back to square one the next day & my body seemed to sort itself out. I now haven't eaten since Tues dinner & I feel fine...

    Have a lovely time As I say having now adjusted to the LCHF diet I now find fasting for 24 hrs comes quite naturally. If I have small snack-like meal I get much more hungry but that is just me :)

    @Lisajohann2014 Im fairly new to LCHF & fasting too. I have found like bulkbiker said ... missing one meal a day at first actually led me to a place where it became easy to miss lunch as well without feeling hungry. So now I do either 16:8 or 24 each day ... depending on how I feel. Haven't...

    B none L none D homemade bacon & lentil soup with yogurt/almonds/cream for pud seem happy to fast 16 - 24 hrs each day - depending how busy I am - really cant believe how easy it is now my body has adjusted to LCHF eating
