etc is a problem for a diabetic?? I love places like this ( especially on holiday) I dont think my body is reacting so well to them now. Any thoughts ???

attended the clinic yesteday and asked about a meter..NO NO NO..I was told type 2 diabetics did not need one..I was also told in no uncertain terms that I would NOT get a prescription for the strips :( We have no support group where I live :o ..
