Which snacks are people eating between meals?

My go to snacks are; Parmesan wisps, wagyu Beef burger with melted American cheese cut into a small pieces, paleo granola and the Noshu sugar free cake range. Each week I make up a sugar free jelly and substitute half the water with cream.

    Hungry

Thank you for the advice. Yes, as soon as I start eating I am more hungry than I was originally! I have been low carb on and off for the past couple of year. Started keto about 9 months ago and lost 7 kilo in a couple of months. However my cholesterol went to 7.7 and my Dr wanted to put me on...

    Hungry

I was wondering at what point does the hunger subsidise. It seems to take a lot for me to arrive at satiety. It’s scary to consume so many calories after a lifetime of being brain washed. This morning I had two scrambled eggs with butter and 150 gram of streaky bacon. I was still hungry! So I...

Newbie! Need some advice on best ingredients and tricks

I have been on and off this journey for a couple of years now, falling off the wagon mostly due to boredom and lack of preparation. Have been reinvigorated by Ivor Cummins podcasts, The Fat Emperor. From this I downloaded his book, Eat Rich, Live Long. The recipes were some of the best I have...

Thank you for Sharing. I made this today for the first time.WOW! I am not a fan of sweetners as I am sensitive to the aftertaste, however I found a web site https://www.biggerbolderbaking.com/how-to-substitute-sugar/ and used the 1 tsp stevia with 3/4 cup of Greek yogurt. The cake tastes...

Support thread for those of us who dont lose weight

I loved all the extra butter and cream in my new LCHF lifestyle, until I started adding in my old friend carbs. I found it easy at the start to stick to low carb and lose weight, as I was able to prepare the truffles and cauliflower fried rice etc. But when I started back work it all changed. I...

Hi Blue, Thanks for the info. I had a look at the book on Amazon I just couldn't find the info on eating out. Does it list US or UK restaurants? Being in Australia we tend to eat Lots of steaks on the BBQ and I love my black pudding ( you can take the girl out of Scotland but you can't take...

What are your "go to" meals when eating out?

Many thanks for the great ideas. I love vegies but not so much salad and I have overdosed on eggs at home. However the more I learn and try different recipes the less mundane my home made meals should be. Last nights heroin chicken was very nice. Maybe I just need to eat all the tasty stuff at...

What are your "go to" meals when eating out?

I am struggling to make informed choices when eating out. Today I had lunch at The Coffee Club and ordered a low calorie dish of corn and zucchini fritters with bacon as it was one of the few dishes that wasn't in a sandwich, wrap or roll! However when I went to enter the food into my fitness...

Has anyone tried Vida or MyFitnessPal?

I use MFP on both my phone and iPad, and have my flex band and aria scales linked with it. I really like the bar code scanner, so if I can't read the ultra small writing on the food labels while shopping, I can just scan the bar code using my phone and see the nutritional details. Having my...

Many thanks all. I never thought of grinding it! I purchased it on iherb, so will look for a powder next time. I have a couple of the stevia mixes but I don't enjoy the after taste.
